| Settling in |
| Our aim is to promote a safe and happy environment for your child whilst they
are here at the nursery. |
| We encourage caring and sharing and offer a stimulating, enjoyable time. |
| Parents are always welcome. We encourage parents to be involved as much as
possible and operate an open door policy, so hopefully you will feel able to
“pop in whenever.” |
| Before your child starts nursery we have a settling in period of 2 short
sessions, this introduction helps enormously. If you prefer to stay with your
child you are welcome to do so. |
| The majority of children settle very quickly. However, occasionally a little
one may require a little more TLC. |
| Always be assured we would never leave a child to be distressed. We will let
you know if we have any concerns. |
| When your child starts nursery you will be given a questionnaire to complete,
“All about Me”; this gives us more valuable information regarding your child.
If your child has any dietary needs you will be asked to complete a form.
Please let us know if, and when such conditions alter. |
| Our settling in process ensures that children are catered for and their
individual needs met. |
| We aim for your child to benefit from the nursery, and give parents peace of
mind while they are away from their children.

information on the current topic, including relevant websites and ideas for
activities at home. Parents and Grandparents are most welcome to spend time
with us, sessions are held throughout the year where parents are invited to
join us and find out what goes on during the day. We have established a very
good relationship with parents and, where possible, they are encouraged to
